In the "Eye to Eye" column, Prime Minister Edi Rama this Wednesday responded to criticism from followers regarding the growth of tourism in Albania.
For the head of government, the comparison of tourism growth is made for the country compared to a year ago and is not made with tourism in Turkey or France, which welcome millions of people every day.
While reiterating that only the vision of the Socialist Party has brought about this improvement in Albania's image, Rama pledged that this majority will remain in power for several years until we join the EU.
"I posted the UN Tourism table where the UN countries are and some friends had some different things to say. Here we talk about growth compared to previous years. We cannot compare ourselves with France and Turkey. Here we talk about who has grown more with the year we left behind. You should be happy about this growth in tourism. Governments come and go, although this one of the SP will stay for at least a few years until we enter the country into the EU. This is the year of the new governing mandate and I will not forget it. Be happy, do not be afraid. The fact that this is happening is due to the colossal work that is done every day to clean up the scum, to increase investments.
