Western Balkans expert and former CIA analyst, David Kanin, in an exclusive interview for "Ditari Kosova" on A2 CNN, spoke about the impact that key actors in the Trump campaign who are engaging in supporting the opposition leader in Albania, Sali Berisha, may have.
According to him, this "could have a major impact on Berisha's ability to claim once again that he is the natural leader of Albania and the only leader of the Democratic Party in Albania."
"This could happen. I'm not sure it will have much impact on US bilateral relations with Albania, other than how the US approach to Berisha and the sanctions against him will affect Albanian politics," declared David Kanin.
