Jorida Tabaku: After the elections, the euro falls, Albanian businesses and

In a video reel published on social networks, Democratic Party MP Jorida Tabaku has raised the alarm about the economic consequences that are following immediately after the electoral process.

According to her, the immediate fall of the euro after the elections is a recurring phenomenon that cannot be explained by any real economic reason.

Tabaku emphasizes that this unreasonable decline in the euro is directly affecting three pillars of the Albanian economy: the fashion sector, agriculture, and families that survive on the income of immigrants.

According to her, if urgent measures are not taken, this situation could turn into a social and economic boomerang for the country.

The Democratic MP warns that the decline of the euro is not related to any positive development in the economy, but to the phenomenon of money laundering, which, according to her, has influenced the artificial flow of currency into the market.

"The Albanian economy needs concrete answers, not manipulations with monetary turnover before the elections," Tabaku said in her message.

It calls for a support package for the tailoring industry, concrete policies for agriculture, and real measures to help families living on remittances.

Immediately after the end of the electoral process, a phenomenon that is repeated after every election in the country is observed: the immediate fall of the euro in the market. This indicates a large amount of euro money being put into circulation during the campaign, for which there is no economic justification.

This decline is not accompanied by growth in any specific economic sector, nor by any new investment or development that would explain an inflow of foreign exchange. In fact, the consequences of this situation are being felt strongly in several key sectors of the economy.

The fashion sector is experiencing a serious crisis. In the last three years, it has almost come to a standstill. Just like agriculture, which suffers from a lack of support and investment. Meanwhile, Albanian families living on income from emigration are increasingly feeling the negative effects of the devaluation of the euro.

In this situation, immediate intervention by the government is required to help these three sectors vital to the national economy. Otherwise, the consequences may be irreparable and turn into an economic and social boomerang.

The decline of the euro does not stem from any normal economic mechanism or logic, but is directly related to phenomena such as money laundering and the lack of control over monetary flows in campaigns.

Therefore, the Albanian economy needs clear answers and concrete measures. The Albanian family needs supportive policies, while the fashion business needs a rescue package so that it can survive this cycle of crises, which has severely affected the sector year after year, forcing many companies to lay off employees.
