A different analysis was made by Fatbardh Kadilli in "Of the Record" regarding the arrest of Erion Veliaj and the progress of the work of the Special Anti-Corruption Structure.
While describing the imprisonment of the mayor of Tirana as SPAK's strongest blow, Kadilli explains that Rama's reaction came as a result of Veliaj being projected as his heir.
Kadilli also criticized the opposition, which he said was complicated by the justice reform. He advised its leaders to abandon calls for the dissolution of SPAK, as it is supported by 70% of Albanians.
"The arrest of Erion Veliaj is the strongest event of SPAK. It is not compared to Berisha and Meta because they were not in office. None of the other ministers or mayors have been arrested in office. Ahmetaj was a powerful player, while Veliaj was projected as the heir. Many directors were his political line. This has taken Rama out of the glass box. The loop of the justice system is tightening. The blow reached the highest level and thus Rama went off balance. The opposition became complexed by the justice reform. It did not understand that this reform was its only ally. It happened in every country. These were signs that the justice reform comes from outside. Berisha continues to say that he will undo SPAK.
