The former deputy of the Democratic Party, Belind Kelliçi, has warned of other developments regarding the incinerator scandal. In an interview with Merita Haklaj on A2 CNN, Këlliçi informed that he has deposited in SPAK a new file, with over 600 pages, that has specific details about how this company, for the incinerator of Tirana, has cheated since its beginnings. Meanwhile, he announced that another file with over 1,000 pages, including contracts, bank accounts and more, will be submitted in the following days.
"On behalf of the panel of experts, I have filed a 635-page file with specific details of how that file proves that the initial contract and order letter and what the company initially filed was a fraud and it's a damage that happens every day. I guarantee that we have made SPAK's job even easier, highlighting the violations, we have deposited and will deposit 1000 or so pages, contracts, bank accounts, affairs that started in Elbasan, went to Fier and continued in Tirana, it goes to Zimbabwe, to Switzerland, to Milan, to Vienna where Mirel Mërtiri is located, and we are dealing with the affair of the century and this theft cannot be done with some officials in the municipality, it is the prime minister himself, who changed the environmental strategy from landfill to incineration", said Kelliçi on A2 CNN.
"SPAK has failed with incinerators"
Belind Kelliçi says that as long as SPAK has not investigated Edi Rama and Erion Veliaj, it is an indication that this new institution of justice has failed.
"SPAK is a failure of the incinerators, Alqi Blako, Arben Ahmetaj, they are negligible in relation to the architect, the owners and the real beneficiaries, 17 governments in one day, none of them surpasses them, that 430 million euros are stolen, a deputy cannot steal them, Rama and Veliaj are involved, there is no way that for the same document, SPAK, acting with direction, has failed", said Kelliçi.
"After the elections, I dealt with the incinerators"
He has revealed that after losing his mandate as a deputy due to running for mayor, his attention is now focused on the incinerators, which he calls the "affair of the century".
"One of the jobs I took after losing the elections, in my interest, is to make this affair transparent", he said.
"Parliament has lost its function"
Already, in the role of an external observer, the former democratic deputy Belind Kelliçi has supported the action of the opposition, saying that the parliament has lost its function. He stated that the chaos, the flares, the chairs, are the result of the actions of the majority that no longer ignores the opposition.
"What is happening is that the parliament has lost all its functions, it is enough to take as a basis what happened last month that served as a starting point for the conflict, when all the attention was on that match, suddenly in that parliamentary session , the speaker of the Assembly appointed whom she knew as the chairman of the DP group and not who we wanted as a deputy, she appointed the chairman of the Electoral Reform Committee, and then the overthrow of 3 parliamentary committees, this moment served as the tipping point, and announced the parliamentary action, it was first Berisha, then Bardhi, and who have made it clear that as long as the opposition is not recognized with any rights, then it is pointless to go and make a facade", concluded Kelliçi on A2 CNN .
