Rudina Hajdari, invited to the "Off the Record" studio with Andrea Danglli, on A2, emphasized that this is not the Albania that her father, Azem Hajdari, would like.
"I don't think this is the Albania he wanted. In these 34 years, things have changed, Albania is definitely different. For years, Albania has been plunged into economic and social depression, where I see total abandonment of the country by the young, by the working part, which aims at other countries. It's enough to look at the numbers and you understand that Albania has had at least 10 years that people prefer to leave", said Rudina Hajdari.
According to her, "the current state of the country comes about because the social model has fallen and the one we serve young people today is not healthy".
"A professor or doctor is no longer respected as it used to be. Today, a gangster is respected, one who gets rich quickly or has a good car. This does not mean that we do not know where the values are, but it has happened that idealism has declined as a concept. People have gone towards pragmatism and the reason why this happens is that Albanian politics has not provided a good model. 34 years have shown that those in power do not give up easily and the servile are the ones who move forward. We are telling young people to move forward by standing by those who have power. This is the most wrong model possible", explained Rudina Hajdari. (A2 Televizion)
