Contract with unions, Berisha: After May 11, miners will receive special status and pension

Sali Berisha guarantees miners that after May 11, with the DP in power, in the first 100 days they will enjoy special status and pension.

For this promise, the DP leader signed a contract with the united unions. Further, Berisha claimed that pensions will be indexed twice as much as inflation: "Therefore, the contract that we are signing today for pensions, for legal amendments, for status, I give you my word of honor that the first 100 days of the DP will be a reality. Pensions will increase by 20 percent and will be indexed twice as much as inflation. Not only that, pensioners and low-wage earners, because low wages will not be able to have a low wage below 500 euros."

Berisha returned to the tariffs imposed by Donald Trump on Albania, promising that with him in power, tariffs on American goods will be lifted, in the hope that Washington in return will do the same thing to our country: "We will do everything so that Made in Albania fills the Albanian markets and the world's markets. The US has imposed a tariff system because everyone has had tariffs on them. This is the truth. Learn the truth. All those who are crying today have had tariffs. Albania will not have any tariffs on American goods and I am convinced that this will also happen with the US government after we lift them."

Berisha claimed that the DP aims to create a business-friendly climate by offering a package of low taxes and fiscal incentives.  (A2 Televizion)
