The official celebrations of November 28 have not united the government with the opposition. After the official ceremony held by the heads of the Albanian state, Sali Berisha also went to Vlora.
Unaccompanied by his deputies, Berisha placed a wreath on the monument of Ismail Qemali.
Even on this day, Berisha did not spare the accusations against Prime Minister Edi Rama.
"I came here to swear in front of the grave of Ismail Bej Vlora, that the Albanian Pashiqi, who has just placed the crown there, has the last one, because the Albanians, in Albania, Kosovo and wherever they are, will pack it in Belgrade , where it belongs. A traitor like this, the nation has never had in history. And this is a solemn promise before the Father of Independence that once again, Pashiqi will not have a place in Tirana, but will go to Belgrade to his master Vučič", said Berisha.
On the other hand, he claimed that there was no invitation from the Albanian government to participate in the official ceremony, but he added that even if he had, he would not have accepted.
"I didn't have an invitation, but I could never come to the grave of Ismail Qemali with my husband," added Berisha.
Berisha also commented on the presence of Albin Kurt next to Edi Rama, where he declared that "sometimes you have to call a pig uncle". (A2 Televizion)
