Former Prime Minister Sali Berisha had an open, direct challenge to Prime Minister Edi Rama. Among the accusations that the latter has stolen millions of Albanian Lek, Berisha invites him to a table, "head to head" and according to him, they will tell them how much the families of Sali Berisha and the family of Edi Rama have received from public funds. Berisha is sure that Rama is the "biggest thief" of this country.
"Let's come and sit together. I am a former prime minister, he is a prime minister. Let's show the Albanians how much the families of Sali Berisha and the family of Edi Rama have received from public funds. If we sit face to face, he turns out to be the biggest thief in the history of this country," said Berisha.
In the wake of this statement, Berisha says that this is the reason why Rama denies the establishment of Investigative Commissions.
"These documents and facts show why Edi Rama denies the basic constitutional right of the opposition MPs to establish the Parliamentary Commission of Inquiry. This is because this commission will show how the power of the stepson was used to enrich the daughter of the family", concluded Berisha.
The opposition demands the establishment of 8 Investigative Commissions, which are opposed by the majority. As a result, the opposition has blocked the normal development of parliamentary sessions. (A2 Televizion)
