Prime Minister Edi Rama has called the suspension of the law for medical students by the Constitutional Court absurd. In his speech, Rama insists that this was the right path to follow and to reinforce this attitude, he brought the example of the Magistrate's school.
The head of the government said that even in this school you cannot get the diploma without working in Albania and in this case there is no violation of the Constitution.
"I do not discuss the decisions of the courts, but also the suspension that the CJK gave to the absurd request to reject this thing, is absurd, I am discussing that it is a suspension because there is a school, that of the magistracy, which has a condition, which does not receive the diploma, if you didn't work for 5 years, it looks like a magistrate and this school is the best in Albania, but the fact is that not even a constitutional right has been violated", said Rama.
He has shown himself to be just as harsh with his stance against the students.
"Thanks to the contribution of the taxpayers, get an education that costs you many times less than what it costs the state, and I put into question that for a few years you will serve these people who pay taxes, and you get your diploma and go to Germany and why, for a very simple reason, even though our University of Medicine is not at the level of German universities, practice has shown that it produces reliable professionals, they know and accept it, but that German friend of our friend here, has outrageously paid to enter the corridor and why, for what reason? Because you had the state to do these studies and open the door to Germany by paying ridiculous amounts, which this state is ready to pay, but you have to pay them back and then go wherever you want," he added.
For this reason, considering it as the right path, Rama said that this system will be extended to other branches, as with medical students.
"In the public education that we have the most favorable and that practice shows that we are not so far from the requirements of Europe, we will expand it, or is it another option that we have given them, will you leave the next day when you get your diploma?
