Despite being absent from the joint meeting between the two Albanian Assemblies, Sali Berisha commented on the statements that were made at the meeting held in Pristina.

From the weekly conference with the media, the democratic leader called Prime Minister Edi Rama's suggestions on how Kosovo should behave in the dialogue with Serbia mediated by the European Union, as interventions that instead of providing solutions have the opposite effect.

"I consider any intervention of Albania in the Prishtina-Belgrade dialogue problem anti-national. I consider it absolutely blocking and not stimulating for solutions", said Berisha.

Asked by A2CNN, why he chose not to go personally to this bilateral meeting, the leader of the Democrats claimed that his trip to Pristina could not be done without the Albanian Assembly condemning the genocide in Kosovo.

"I would not go under any circumstances without voting for the resolution to condemn the Serbian genocide in Kosovo. Without an apology request, the government really represents, but it is the citizens of Kosovo as well, but an apology should be asked to the citizens of Kosovo for the sanctions imposed by Albania", said Berisha.

Berisha also commented on the statement of the senior US official, Aleksandër Kasanof, made during the SPAK 5th anniversary ceremony, who asked that all the prosecutors of the Special Prosecution Office be able to receive a second term. The chief democrat did not object, but on one condition.

"The Deputy Assistant Secretary of State expressed his intention to run, but not what Dumani says, to extend my constitutional mandate. Another is the extension of the mandate. Dumani asks that it be done for 18 years, it does not happen, it can never be done. Rigara, the rigger if he applies the law has no reason to leave the system".

During the communication with the media, the leader of the opposition also presented a document through which, according to him, the Consultative Council of European Judges, next to the Council of Europe, has overthrown the vetting process in Albania. (A2 Televizion)
