The leader of the 'Right for Development' coalition, MP Dashamir Shehi, has stated that small and medium-sized businesses are heading towards bankruptcy.
Shehi made the comments during a meeting with citizens and businesses in the Madrasa Market area in Tirana, where he said that just as they have done with every other market, the oligarchs and the government will try to ruin this market in the future to build mansions.
Shehi added that nowadays big businesses are 'eating' small businesses and called on citizens to vote for the 'Right for Development' coalition, as according to him, they have a ruthless fight against monopolies on their agenda.
He also said that the more parliamentary mandates this coalition receives in the elections, the more influence it will have in Parliament and the next government, to protect small and medium-sized businesses.

We unfortunately see that business has declined. Unfortunately, it's a shame to say it, but here the turnover is more in the gabby than in the new clothes shops. This is a sign of where this economy is heading.
About 1,000 people eat bread here, for better or worse. Our offer must be explained and simplified so that it reaches these people. Our offer says let these people work, remove taxes and break monopolies.
For some time, those big groups will build these palaces, we will be here. The day will come, in the next elections, you can be sure about this work. As other markets have advanced to build palaces, the day will come here too, because that big business is eating the small.
