Alongside Prime Minister Edi Rama in Tirana, French President Emmanuel Macron expressed support for Albania's integration into the European Union. Albania has shown a lot, has made great progress. Albania's path is clear towards the EU. France will be by your side to accompany you in these reforms, so that your merits are recognized by everyone and that the agenda is maintained. You will maintain your agendas and we will maintain ours, 2027 is not a perspective, but a reality. Thank you for the hospitality and friendship between our two countries. Albania is showing the way in an excellent way," Macron said.
At the beginning of his speech, the French president congratulated Prime Minister Rama on his victory in the May 11 elections.
