Among the European leaders who have congratulated Prime Minister Edi Rama today on his victory in the May 11 elections is his Croatian counterpart, Andrej Plenković.
In a post on social media, Plenković, in addition to congratulating Rama, also expressed enthusiasm for the meeting with him in Tirana, which will take place on May 16, within the framework of the European Political Community summit.
" Congratulations to Prime Minister Edi Rama on his election victory! I look forward to further strengthening bilateral relations and continuing cooperation within NATO and other international forums. I look forward to participating in the European Political Community summit in Tirana on Friday ," Plenković wrote.
The first to congratulate Rama was Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, whom the Albanian head of government thanked by once again calling her "my sister." Congratulations also came from Kiev and Madrid, with President Zelensky and Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez congratulating Rama through posts on the social network 'X'.
