Prime Minister Edi Rama is confident that on May 11th he will receive his fourth governing mandate, with more votes than ever before.
"The people show their trust by voting, and since I came to this office until today, they have given me their trust 9 times. I assure you that they will give me their trust again on May 11, for the tenth time, and with the best result out of the ten times. Why do I have this conviction? Because this people do not think that I should resign, because I led the independence of justice and paved the way for attacks at high levels, which had never happened since 1912," said Rama, responding to comments from followers on his Facebook account.
While another commentator wrote that he had all his collaborators in prison, Rama replied: "In 3 mandates I have had 60 ministers. So far, 2 ministers from the first mandate have been convicted, another is in detention and another, the former deputy prime minister, has fled to escape justice." (A2 Televizion)
