Fatmir Xhafaj, an open list candidate for the Socialist Party in Tirana, was invited on Thursday afternoon to Ditarin by Bruna Çifligu on A2 CNN, where he spoke about the expectations of the majority on May 11.
"It has been a calm campaign, dominated by both the main leaderships and the competition, the race and the competition between the candidates within the political forces. This type of competition has created a great advantage as there has been an intensive communication with the voters. For me, there is no change since I am in my natural habitat since in my career I have had the opportunity to run for 3 mandates in the majoritarian, which is a much tougher, more direct and much more connected to the voters. Even 4 years ago it was the same for me and it is an exercise done for me. I note that the electorate has changed a lot. Citizens have become much more demanding towards the candidate", said Xhafaj.
Furthermore, Xhafaj also commented on Rama's optimism this Thursday in Kuç, Vlora, where he predicted that the majority will receive more than 78 mandates. Xhafaj said that in Tirana, the SP will receive 19 mandates.
"Kuçi is a very interesting village and as a symbolic choice it is not a bad choice. I believe that he has all the necessary information to give a result on a national scale that I do not have. I have to trust him because he is the party chairman and the country's prime minister. I believe that the optimistic approach that he demonstrated with the figures corresponds to reality. I see it projected in Tirana. I see a positive approach even after 3 mandates towards the electorate towards us. In Tirana, I believe that we will get 19 mandates", said Xhafaj. (A2 Televizion)
