Former Deputy Prime Minister Arben Ahmetaj, announced as an international wanted by SPAK, from the escape has reacted through a post on the social network Facebook about the investigative process in charge of him.
Ahmetaj informs that he has contracted the American law firm "Nixon Peabody" to examine the report that the Special Prosecutor's Office submitted to the Assembly on the removal of his immunity.
According to the former number two of the government, in the voluminous report that the "Americans" submitted to them after reviewing the SPAK file, they found that the Albanian judiciary is carrying out politically oriented attacks against him.
Ahmetaj further clarifies that he has also submitted the report to the Albanian institutions, while in the following I will react again to the standards applied in the investigation against him.
AHMETAY'S REACTION:
In the wake of political persecution for more than a year and a half, continued directed at the media (funded by incinerators) and prosecution institutions, I was forced to request an independent second opinion from a firm international law firm based in the US.
The legal firm "Nixon Peabody" reviewed the entire SPAK report presented in the request that the latter submitted to the Assembly for the removal of parliamentary immunity. The "Nixon Peabody" law firm, after several months of work with colleagues with experience in the field (former federal prosecutors, or former investigators of American law enforcement institutions) have produced a long report of 420 pages based on international standards, the presumption of innocence and basic human rights.
In the report there is also a summary of 38 pages, where one of the conclusions of "political motivation or others..." stands out, i.e. politically oriented attacks, for the accusations leveled against me, a summary which can be easily read by anyone interested .
I have sent this report to the Minister of Justice, the Speaker of the Assembly, Chief Inspector Metani, as well as some foreign representations of states and institutions that have contributed to the reform in justice.
Below I have attached the link of the complete material which is easily accessible.
I am no longer surprised or surprised by the targeted blows, past, present and future. I am not surprised by the standards applied either. In the near future I will communicate in detail about the allegations/assumptions and beyond… (A2 Televizion)
