The publication of Klotilda Bushka's name as an obstruction of justice in the investigative file against Erion Veliaj was noted by the Democrats. At the very first opportunity, they demanded her removal from the leadership of the Laws Committee.
Right at the beginning of the meeting, Dashnor Sula told Bushka to her face that her presence at the head of the committee compromises legislative activity.
"It would not be fair for you to lead the Laws Committee, while according to the publication of the materials and a statement by SPAK, it appears that the chairwoman of the laws committee has prevented the discovery of the truth. When this happens from the chairwoman of the laws committee, imagine what situation we are in," said Sula.
Sula's words did not even make Klotilda Bushka bat an eyelash, who, faced with demands for resignation, follows the same path as her majority colleagues.
"I am the chairwoman of the laws committee and I am exercising my duty. If I have something to clarify, I will clarify it there, where the issues you raise are clarified. As far as dignity is concerned, I have been dignified, I am dignified and I will continue to be dignified," Bushka replied.
Other Socialists sided with Klotilda Bushka, demanding the continuation of the work with that committee chair, which the Democrats themselves de facto accepted, moving on to the consideration of the agenda. (A2 Televizion)
