Yesterday evening, at the conclusion of the first day of the European People's Party (EPP) Congress, the leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, participated in the Leaders' Dinner, organized at the Palacio de la Exposición in the heart of Valencia.
The meeting brought together leaders of center-right parties from across Europe in a setting reserved for high-level discussions, away from cameras and media noise. The meeting was attended by European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen, European Parliament President Roberta Metsola, German Chancellor Friedrich Merz and 13 other prime ministers.
Berisha's participation in this roundtable represents not only the return of the Albanian right to a deserved position within the European conservative family, but also a clear message about the role of the Democratic Party as an active part of the common European future.
During the cocktail and dinner, views were exchanged on key developments in Europe and the world. Berisha had the opportunity to greet and congratulate Chancellor Merz on his successes in the elections and the formation of the new cabinet.
Before the dinner, official photos were taken with all EPP leaders, writes A2 CNN. (A2 Televizion)
