The opposition continues to stand by its decision not to allow normality in the parliamentary session until its demands are fulfilled. However, in this unified position, as they say, they are ready to withdraw with the intention of ending their action. The deputy chairman of the Democratic Party, Agron Gjekmarkaj, invited to the "Interview" with Merita Haklajn, has revealed what the opposition would be willing to negotiate with the socialists.
"We have requested several commissions of inquiry that have been rejected for some trivial reasons, Çuçi tells us to rewrite the object, it seems to me a trick to avoid responsibility, however, I asked at the meeting that we could rephrase these requests that we we are here to show that the majority has a trick to not allow them, but it should not be said that the PD did not make an effort to have a dialogue with the opposing party, this does not mean that we ran away from the essence or the protest, while trying to find a mode that brings the parties closer to bring the assembly to normality, we are the first to want normality", said Gjekmarkaj.
Today, part of the opposition presented the idea of creating an opposition federation. Here, Gjekmarkaj does not rule out Ilir Meta's party either.
"Albania needs to have a strong opposition, in front of a strong government after 12 years of centralized power, strong connections with the world of crime, then this requires a mobilization even beyond the right of the DP, then the personal nuances do not bother me, that you are all brothers, brothers or friends", he said.
