Prime Minister Edi Rama has announced that starting Monday, the Spring Bonus will be distributed to 730,430 pensioners, inside and outside Albania.
Rama announced the news through a post on social networks, where he explained that this bonus will be available at every Albanian Post office and in second-tier banks, offering important support to those who benefit from this program.
"Spring Bonus, from Monday for 730,430 pensioners (domestic or abroad), at every Albanian Post office and second-tier banks," the prime minister writes.
Recall that Rama previously announced that elderly people with a monthly pension of up to 200 euros will receive a bonus of 100 euros, while those with a pension over 200 euros will receive a 50 euro bonus, writes A2 CNN.
The opposition has called the spring bonus an electoral candy offered by the government, while Rama has rejected the thesis that the bonus has to do with the May 11 elections.
