Has there been increased tension within the ranks of the Socialist Party during the last few days? The answer to this question was given on the "Off the Record" show by Andrea Danglili on A2 CNN to the SP deputy and former minister Damian Gjiknuri.
He denied them saying that there are always discussions, but not cracks created by groups to get more power.
"I only read from the media as I was not at that meeting. I can say that we, as a parliamentary group, try to find the best possible way to ensure the procedural rights that the opposition has, to guarantee a normal session, it is not easy when you are dealing with an extremely aggressive opposition...
There can be debate about how to do this better, but not debate that one group will gain power over another group. These are more the wishes or dreams of the opposition to see cracks within the SP, as they see that it is impossible for them to defeat it electorally or face this rival. The dream of the weak is to crumble the strong to create the necessary space", said Gjiknuri. (A2 Televizion)
