Sali Berisha said that the Democratic Party and the Socialist Party differ from each other due to the fact that, while in the DP they respect each other, in the SP "they are poking each other's eyes out".
In a meeting with the branch of the Democratic Party in Kamëz, where he wished that 2025 would be the year of the Albanian opposition, Berisha said that in the last three years, the PD resisted an attack that, according to him, was the most unprecedented ever, writes A2 CNN .
"Everything was being done for Edi Rama to have all the power in Albania, including the opposition. All forms were used, but here we are today, more united than ever, more powerful than ever, stronger than ever, more supported than ever before. Tens of hundreds of times in your meetings and gatherings, you denounced the unimaginable thefts of the Albanian budget and public assets by the government. You denounced the transformation of the electoral process into an electoral farce. You denounced the fusion of crime and power. You denounced the national betrayal of Edi Rama's Albanian interests", said Berisha.
"Today these are no longer just your denunciations, but today there are three international resolutions, one of which was signed by 108 center-right political parties, the other by 85 parties, which tell the whole world that Albania is a narco-state, that Albania is the country of the narco-dictatorship with prisons and political prisoners, that Albania is the country of electoral farce and monism, that in Albania the state and crime are inseparable, that in Albania, corruption has skyrocketed and cannot be contained. So friends, you stayed and resisted for 3 years. But today you have brought the regime to the edge of the grave. Yes. Today, if we are united in full respect of each other's opinions, they are putting out each other's eyes. They face off like jackals against each other and shoot each other with the crimes they have committed themselves. And we have prepared the platform with which we will sit and talk with every citizen of this country". (A2 Televizion)
