Plator Nesturi, the new prefect of the Vlora district, was introduced this Tuesday afternoon at the District Prefecture.
It was Defense Minister Piro Vëngu who introduced Nestur, while praising his figure.
Then, Deputy Minister of Interior Juljan Hodaj took the floor, who also focused on the priorities and expectations in this region.
"I am privileged to come to my city to give my commitment and dedication to the development of the region," he said.
Also present at this event were local government authorities of the District as well as leaders of institutions in Vlora.
The decision on Nesturi was taken at the January 9 meeting of the Council of Ministers and bears the signature of Prime Minister Edi Rama, writes A2 CNN.
This position had remained vacant since Vangjel Tavo was elected mayor of Himara. Since Vangjel Tavo's resignation, this position has been held by Mr. Kristaq Kiço, who will hand over the position today, January 14. (A2 Televizion)
