On March 15, Democrats will protest on "Martyrs of the Nation" Boulevard, against the government's decision to shut down the social network TikTok.
The opposition protest will take place at 7:00 PM, while the protest poster has been distributed by the Democrats on social media, inviting citizens to join the rally against the closure of TikTok.
The call for protest was made by the leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, following Prime Minister Edi Rama's decision to close the platform in Albania for 1 year.
"The act of blocking him for the fact that with TikTok, young people were criticizing and mocking Edi Rama is a brutal act, it is his intolerance towards different opinions," Berisha declared.
