Sali Berisha agrees to withdraw the condition that blocks the proposed changes to the Electoral Code for the vote of emigrants only for one of the three amendments to the draft that will be voted on on February 13.

The radical stance was softened by Sali Berisha when asked why the Democrats were against the idea of covering 100% of the postal costs for the ballot for immigrants, including the return of the envelope.

"It's not true. This was our condition. We are voting for this amendment. We are not voting for the other one, the move to deadlines. This one, tomorrow, because it's our proposal, that immigrants pay nothing."

The other two amendments, related to the deadlines for registration in the elections, and allowing political parties to count the votes of immigrants, are accepted by the DP only if their condition is met, that on May 11, even those Albanians who do not have identification documents from our country can vote.

"We are asking for as many Albanians as possible to exercise their constitutional rights. They are asking for as few Albanians as possible to exercise their constitutional rights. And we are not raising our hands, no. They have until the 13th to think as they please."

From the press conference, Berisha once again invited citizens to participate in the protest he called for Saturday afternoon, with the aim of cutting the ticket of defeat on May 11, as he put it, to Edi Rama's regime.

"Buying a 5 million euro vase, the instillation as if it were Surrel's property, means that you have nothing, no feeling for the suffering, the problems that its citizens have. It means that you are unacceptable to them. This is the truth. It is in the hands of the citizens, but if the citizens say tomorrow that we can't stand it anymore, Sali Berisha fully supports them."

According to Berisha, the other camp is heading towards collapse as the socialists are realizing that they have no party and nothing connects them to Edi Rama. (A2 Televizion)
