The statement of the State Election Commissioner regarding the publication of the results of the electronic voting in Vora and Unit 10 in Tirana, on Monday morning, has brought the reaction of the Socialist Party. In a statement to the media, Helena Kace from the SP expresses regret and calls this decision arbitrary by the CEC.
"The failure to release the results of Vora and Unit 10 by the CEC, with an arbitrary decision that contradicts the logic of electronic voting, the tradition of immediately announcing the result, as well as the very reason for the significant investment that has been made in the electronic infrastructure, is an arbitrary, wrong and disappointing decision for the role of the CEC as a guarantor of the Sovereign People, and not of the tactical needs of political parties. We regret this and call on the Socialist Party of Vora as well as our supporters in Vora to maintain calm."
She calls on socialists to remain calm and avoid provocations.
"The result is in the box and have no doubt that nothing and no one can change it. You are the first swallow of a victory that will be unforgettable in the history of the Socialist Party. Congratulations, congratulations, congratulations! All socialists involved in the process throughout Albania must remain calm, avoid provocations and patiently extract victory from the boxes where the Sovereign people have locked their historic decision."
