Edi Rama sought the vote of Albanian immigrants in the May 11 elections to save justice, as he said, from the swamp owl, the term with which he identifies the leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha.

He then accused his rivals, whom he refers to as a pond or swamp, of taking innocent lives, so he demanded that they be presented with Noc Rroku on May 12th.
"They are the swamps that have never let justice have its turn. That swamp has managed to take innocent lives and today they want to return again, because the owl will return for its own sake. That is why I want you to understand me and believe me so that as many Albanians as possible receive this message. It is not about our power in itself, because here it is not about getting one more vote than the swamps. This is about giving Albania the objective at the top of the negotiations and Albania 2030 to take the status and guarantee it definitively, guarantee it as a birthright of every girl or boy.
