Prime Minister Edi Rama expressed his concern that SPAK taught at the Agricultural University of Tirana as if it were an anti-mafia operation taking place in Sicily, writes A2 CNN.
"How do you explain to the Austrians (Vienna Agricultural University, BOKU) that a special force enters the university and takes 24 security measures as if it entered the village of Corleone. The anti-mafia prosecution does these things in Italy, but in a university, I don't know...", said Rama at the meeting of the socialist parliamentary group where the rector of UBT, Fatbardh Sallaku, also reported.
"When I asked him what the amount was, the rector told me that it was 300 million old lek... It's been 2 years since they took his phone and they haven't returned it. They gave him the green light to run for rector but they haven't returned his phone. Tomorrow he could be found guilty too."
The Prime Minister reiterated once again that the Socialists support justice, but cannot allow human rights to be violated, mentioning the Strasbourg decision for former RTSH director Thoma Gëllçi, which called his pre-trial detention unjust, before sentencing. (A2 Televizion)
