Prime Minister Edi Rama has described how the cleaning of the Lana Riverbank in the capital from kiosks took place, referring to the time when he was mayor.
He said he is ready to face justice for the way he chose at that time, writes A2.
"I committed corruption, I called the builders to the office here and I said: hey, did you give any money for the building permits? They looked and said how is the work... Did you give it? No. You? No. Well, you know I'm stupid, I told you, that you get permits and you don't give anything. The time has come now for you to pay the bribe to the citizens of Tirana. I divided the segment of Tirana into pieces, I told them to take your bulldozers, demolish them, clean them up or else you won't get any more building permits. I did this and I didn't do it once, I did it many times. To those who were looking at the percentage for the building permits yesterday, I said "there is no son of a... nor a mother's son to come out and say that he gave me money...", declared Rama.
