The Democratic Party has reacted after the post on the 'X' platform of the United States Embassy in Tirana, made this morning, where it was underlined that it does not change its course regarding the relationship with the president of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha.
Sources from the blue headquarters inform A2 CNN that the reaction from the US diplomatic headquarters comes after the meeting that the person in charge, Nancy VanHorn, held during the past week with several deputies of the Democratic Party.
According to the sources, the opposition MPs in the meeting they had with the US diplomats raised concerns about the May 11 elections, the use of power during the electoral process, the influence of organized crime, but also regarding the space of the opposition in the Assembly.
PD has also complained about the independence of the institutions, especially those of justice, where they also demanded in this conversation the creation of a technical government before the elections.
