The leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, in a press conference called for "the Prosecutor's Office to investigate election crimes before May 11."
Berisha emphasized that "yesterday in Valencia, the EPP congress, which brings together 82 center-right parties on the European continent, which lead the Commission and the European Parliament, lead Germany, Austria and are prime ministers in 12 other countries and governments in several others, adopted emergency resolution number 4, just one week before the elections in Albania, dedicated to the integrity of the electoral process in Albania."
"This resolution, which was adopted without a single vote against in complete unanimity, definitively branded Edi Rama as an enemy of free voting on the European continent, ranking him alongside Lukashenko and any other dictator. The EPP calls for action by the EU, the OSCE and the Council of Europe to demand that the Albanian authorities stop any kind of abuse of state power, vote buying and electoral manipulation. The prosecution must investigate all allegations related to electoral crimes before the elections and bring the perpetrators to justice," said Berisha, writes A2.
"The EPP also calls on the OSCE-ODIHR to send long-term observers to high-risk municipalities, to document electoral abuses in the final reports," Berisha added. (A2 Televizion)
