Prime Minister Edi Rama, in his speech at the 3rd Diaspora Summit in Tirana, stated that this meeting at the dawn of the 111th anniversary of independence is a good omen for the unification of Albanians.
" This two-day meeting comes with the full awareness that in the work of the Summit, which takes place intensively outside these large plenary sessions, we have been entrusted with the opportunity to communicate together to write another new page for Albania and Albanians. The summit is a crossroads where everyone unites, regardless of beliefs and political, regional affiliations, as Albanians who have something to say, to give about the way we should approach the challenges of the world in which we live. "
To show that Albanians can make any dream come true and achieve any objective when they work together, Rama took as an example the qualification of the Albanian national football team for the 2024 European Championship that takes place in Germany.
"" This Summit takes place a few days after the alliances of Albania, Kosovo and the Republic of Moldova not only took Albania to Europe, but showed us again what we can do when we unite talents, wills, forces and above all have a goal and strategy for earned. Together no goal is unattainable, no dream impossible. If there is a great lesson that everyone can take from all those names that make us proud as Albanians, it is the lesson that they all had a much bigger dream than their possibilities could advise them and have come true.
