The leader of the 'Right for Development' coalition, Mr. Dashamir Shehi, has reacted harshly regarding the videos exchanged between Edi Rama and Lulzim Basha.
In 'Afternoon Diary' with journalist Bruna Çifligu on A2 CNN, Shehi said that Rama and Basha have forgotten about politics, but are focused on clicks.
He added that he would not allow himself to fall to these levels, which he believes are vulgar, as he believes that politicians are judged for state affairs and not for embezzlement and degradation.
Shehi went even further when he said that the Rama-Basha jokes have surpassed the vulgarity on TikTok and 'Big Brother' and, according to him, are poorly educating the younger generation.
"I suspect that Basha is doing this because of the attention he gets. I would never do it. We are judged here for the work of the state, not for memes."
Both this and that other prime minister have degraded politics to these kinds of levels, I would never stoop to this level of nonsense even for a million clicks.
"They are blaming the youth of Big Brother and Tik Tok for nothing. They are educating the youth with what they are doing. Our police are actually dramatic and tragic. I am not against them accepting a sense of humor. But not at these levels," said Shehi, writes A2 CNN. (A2 Televizion)
