The chairman of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, has stated that in the Assembly, the opposition will conduct a public trial on the basis of documents for the thieves of Albania.
Berisha made the comments during his speech on the procedure in the Assembly, where he accused Speaker Elisa Spiropali of violating the rights of the opposition.
He addressed the socialist deputies that if they are unjustly accused of being thieves by the opposition, they have the right to sue in SPAK.
After Berisha's words, Spiropali closed his microphone, not allowing him to speak more.
"I cannot help denouncing the brutality with which the president interrupts the MP and protests for the sole fact that she addresses her with the epithet that is addressed to the whole of Albania. In the event that someone here in the Parliament calls you a thief without basing it on official documents, you have the right to sue him for defamation, but if on the basis of documents, the public trial of thieves is held here, it has been done, will be done and will be done," he said.
