Ilir Meta wishes DP's 'birthday' from his cell

The President of the Freedom Party, Ilir Meta, has congratulated the Democratic Party on the occasion of the 34th anniversary of its establishment.

His congratulations were made through a reaction on the Facebook social network, while Meta himself is in Fier prison.

In his response, Meta writes that PD is the first force that brought political pluralism and democracy to Albania.

Heartiest congratulations to the Democratic Party, the first force that brought political pluralism and democracy to the country, on the occasion of the 34th anniversary of its establishment and many new successes in fulfilling the very important responsibilities for the future of the country.

This birthday finds the Democratic Party stronger, more united and more motivated in defense of the values ​​​​of freedom, democracy, national interests and the rule of law in the face of the criminal efforts of the Narco State and the MgGonigals to annihilate it and political pluralism.

A warm congratulations to its historical leader, Prof. Dr. Sali Berisha, for the founders, leaders, members and sympathizers of DP.
