"The fate of Europe is in our hands." This is what Prime Minister Edi Rama said this morning in the Sy m'sy column, as he announced the opening of another group of negotiation chapters with the European Union. According to him, there are 11 more chapters to be opened and he expressed confidence that they will be opened within this year.
"Yesterday when I was going to Fier, I received the news that the next group of negotiation chapters was approved for opening. So we have opened 16, we are opening 8 more now. There are 11 more to open and I believe and hope and wish that with the new power of May 11 we will open 11 more within this year. It would be a European record that no country has opened all the chapters in one year and no other with a deadline of three years. The fate of Europe is in our hands", announced Rama.
The leading socialist also emphasized that Albania wins with him and the Socialist Party, while bringing to attention the achievements during his government.
"Albania wins only with me and the Socialist Party. As they have shown all these years, we have tripled production, income per capita, when we have freed up a lot of energy, making the tax zero. The only country in the region with a zero tax for small businesses. Today we are in third place in the region for salary increases, we will reach them too. We have handed over 53 hospitals, to find the last hospital built, going back to the '60s-'70s. We have rebuilt 450 schools." (A2 Televizion)
