From Germany, where he participated in the CDU electoral congress, the chairman of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, declared that the CDU's victory in Germany, after the Republican victory in the US, will remove the left from European and Albanian politics. He called on Albanians living in Germany to vote for the CDU and Chancellor Merz, as the best choice for the country where they live, but also for Albanians in Albania.
"First of all, this was a magnificent congress, which is crowning the victory of the future Chancellor, Frederic Merz, the most important man in Europe. It was a great pleasure for me to come to such an event after many years. I had the opportunity to meet many old friends, new friends and a warm handshake with the future Chancellor, Merz, and many other important personalities of this party.
In all these meetings, cooperation between the Democratic Party, the Albanian opposition and the CDU has been a key issue, as I take this opportunity to call on Albanians in Germany to vote for the CDU and Chancellor Merz in the February general elections, as the choice in the best interest of the country where they live, but also of Albanians in Albania and everywhere in the world. After the victory of the Republicans in the USA, the victory of the CDU in Germany means de facto the removal of the left from the European and Albanian stage. As is known, the victory in Germany makes it the 77th place in a row that the left wins and the center-right and right triumph. Of course, the victory of the future Chancellor Merz in Germany, after the victory of Donald Trump, is the most important victory in the world for the center-right.
