Prime Minister Edi Rama, in the "Sy m'sy" section on Facebook, responded to a commentator who told the head of government that hospitals have been built, "but they are in vain because corruption continues there," writes A2.
Rama said: "53 new hospitals, 10 that did not exist, 43 that collapsed and were rebuilt from scratch with European standards. We took Albania with hospitals from the '60s and that were only patched up in the '90s and 2000s. Heroic doctors, they gave and took as in a war in the middle of Europe, in the 21st century. Ambulances were started with a push of a button and emergencies depended on the sleeping schedules of the guards who left their phones open."
"Today we have 400 new health centers, we have emergency rooms with equipment, well-paid doctors and nurses. We check almost half a million people a year with free tests... There is still a lot, but I will stop here, saying that the "Mother Teresa" University Hospital Center has started cooperation and will be recognized with the health center in Israel, we will build two ultra-modern hospitals during the fourth mandate, in cooperation with the United Arab Emirates and with the best hospital structure in Italy. These will ensure that we no longer need to take people abroad for complicated surgeries. Albanians will even come from abroad", added the prime minister.
