"Eye to eye" for the economy, Rama: 57% of employees with zero taxes

In the "Sy m'sy" column, where he answers citizens' questions, Prime Minister Edi Rama focused today on the economy.

According to the head of government, the economy is never as good as it should be, but compared to when this majority took office, the comparison of the figures is impressive.

"The economy is never good enough. I know that something more needs to be done to mitigate the increase in prices in some cases and beyond logic, but the figures speak for themselves and when we took office there were about 100 thousand active companies, today there are 250 thousand. This is a significant figure. Today we have 57% of employees with 0 taxes. They are the lowest rates and they give opportunities to citizens. Only 5% of employees have taxes above 10%. We have left people with 150 million euros in their pockets. That is 1.4 billion euros in 10 years. Per capita income has more than doubled. Today we are over 10 thousand euros in per capita income. The Gross National Product has reached 25 billion. These are facts", said Rama. (A2 Televizion)
