With an hour's difference and almost 100 kilometers from Edi Rama's meeting place with Albanians in Milan, Sali Berisha held the next meeting with compatriots living and working in Italy.
The warm welcome he received from the Albanians of Brescia increased Berisha's desire to stay on stage for a few more seconds and take photos with the young people.
As he recalled his 12-year journey in opposition, Berisha sought the vote of Italian Albanians to overthrow what he calls the dictatorial regime of Edi Rama.
Berisha calls Edi Rama's promise of a European passport a fraud.
He demanded total commitment from his followers to meet each and every Albanian in the diaspora who has registered to vote.
Even in this meeting with Albanians in Italy, the opposition leader was accompanied by the campaign manager, Chris Lacivita, who called on everyone to vote for the Democratic Party.
"In 2024, Donald Trump became President of the United States because he brought the majority of Americans to vote. By everyone coming out, as many as possible, to vote in the May 11 elections, for number 1 for Dr. Sali Berisha, you will make Albania great again," said LaCivita. (A2 Televizion)
