Was Veliaj's arrest "necessary" for SPAK standardization?

Petro Koçi, a Socialist Party MP, was invited to the "Ditar" studio with Bruna Çifligu, on A2 CNN, where he stated that the SP requires from SPAK not only courage, but also professionalism.

"Even now we praise SPAK, but we demand that there be progress in the work of this institution, not just courage to take various figures under investigation. We want as much professionalism as possible," said Koçi.

"SPAK and GJKKO are not perfect machines. There may be individuals there who deviate from the required standards. Professionals have many objections, especially the community of lawyers. They have expressed their views on the detention rate on many occasions. This means that there is something that needs to be revised. We have had in our "inventory" what the lawyers have expressed", added Koçi.

The socialist MP further emphasized that "it turns out that there are some things that we don't think are going well."

"For example, if we take into account the fact that in the entire Veliaj file it is calculated that Veliaj was in the Golem area due to telephone impulses, it does not seem serious to me. I do not think it is a political decision by SPAK, but different individuals may undoubtedly have their own political sympathies or antipathies. Of course, it is the claim that someone collaborates with Mr. Berisha who sends him copies of the investigative files and if this is true, I think that the motive would be an attempt to implicate the relationship of the SP with the trust it has in SPAK and it seemed that they succeeded, but they did not succeed", declared Petro Koçi.
