Azem Hajdari's daughter, ex-Democrat deputy Rudina Hajdari, has stated that she has left active engagement in the Democratic Party, as her voice has not been heard in the party's internal forums.

Hajdari made the comments on the 'Off the Record' show with journalist Andrea Danglili on A2 CNN, where she said that she has requested reform of the DP in the National Council and on the 32nd anniversary of the DP, but according to her, her requests were not taken into account and today the opposition is not where it should be.

She added that she finds the political rotation difficult next year, which is also an election year.

"DP has had its own challenges in the last 5-6 years. I was in politics in 2017 and beyond with the abandonment of the mandates, the local elections and the division within the PD. All these had their consequences. Even today, I don't see very inspired people to show that the opposition is in the right place and time to make the change.

I was one of those few internal voices, not external, so I did not want to harm the PD and when I expressed an opinion, I expressed it in our internal forums, in the National Council, where I expressed my opinion regarding the journey that PD should have.

For example, on December 11 two years ago, on the 32nd anniversary of the DP, I said in my speech that the DP should be reformed to be more contemporary. To absorb those who have been in DP. I do not see this reformation with my own eyes. PD is not where it should be. Next year is an election year, and considering the time, I find rotation difficult", said Hajdari. (A2 Televizion)
