The Freedom Party confirms that instead of their leader, Ilir Meta, who chose to run on the open list in Tirana, Brunilda Haxhiu will be a candidate on the closed list of the "DP-Greater Albania" coalition in Fier.
The officialization of her candidacy will take place at a meeting of the DP structures.
"The Freedom Party has guaranteed safe and dignified gender representation, in the most equitable manner, according to its Statute, 50% - 50%, and will be represented in a very dignified manner in the Fier Region, with an indigenous candidacy, Ms. Brunilda Haxhiu, Deputy Secretary General and Secretary for Family and Against Depopulation.
"We express our confidence that the Fier Region, to which we have many obligations, will massively support Ms. Brundila Haxhiu, as well as a candidacy from the open list, proposed by the Freedom Party," the PL statement reads. (A2 Televizion)
