The Social Security Institute has notified all persons who are preparing documents to receive a pension that the lack of a work record book does not penalize them from the right to benefits, writes A2 CNN.
"In the online application form, in Section III, B 1., you must correctly declare the periods of work and the enterprises or institutions where you have worked. Family certificate, marriage certificate (when the data is correctly declared by the applicants), certificate for the period of compulsory military service for men, certificates proving the insurance periods and contributory salaries are provided by the ISSH," the announcement states.
To benefit from an old-age pension, in addition to applying online through the e-albania platform, a citizen must also submit relevant documents proving their period of work and contribution history.
Documentation to be submitted for old age pension:
Work book or certificates of work periods (if you have any).
High School Diploma (if you have completed high school).
Court decision recognizing seniority at work (if you have approached the Court about this matter).
Copy of electricity bill (if you are also requesting energy compensation).
