Sali Berisha met with the youngest members of the Medical Faculty to present the Democrats' project for health and education. Accompanied by Dr. Ilir Alimehmeti, the Democratic candidate on the open list for Tirana, and other candidates, Sali Berisha told the young people how the healthcare of 2025 is reminiscent of that of the 1960s.
The exodus of doctors and the hospital mafia, according to the opposition leader, have dealt the biggest blow to healthcare. Sali Berisha also promised that the list of reimbursable drugs will be similar to that of European countries, citing Italy as an example. According to the opposition leader, Albania today has 4 times fewer doctors than the average of the union.
