Elbasan has once again become the center of Summer Day celebrations this year. Full of colors, they call for good things and prosperity.
Gledian Llatja, the mayor of Elbasan, said: "Summer Day takes place in Elbasan and Elbasan is definitely the center of Summer Day. The congratulations for the holiday were also joined by the political leader, Arbjan Mazniku: "Summer Day is an extraordinary, very old holiday. The fact that this holiday continues systematically and is celebrated in Elbasan with such joy that people come from all over Albania, is a clear sign of the fact that the roots of this holiday and the roots of this tradition are very deep in these lands, in this area. And this is the moment when we leave winter behind and look forward to summer, to the blooming of leaves, the arrival of prosperity. I believe that this year we have a series of good news with the requalification of the Castle, its return to a center for tourism, not only of Elbasan, but of the entire region of Albania. Plus with major infrastructure projects that will return Elbasan to where it belongs, in the center of Albania, not only physically, but also in terms of connectivity. But, above all, as a point that will attract a very large number of tourists here, not only for Summer Day, but for the entire season, which will affect the economy and development of the city. So it is a very good moment to wish everyone a Happy Summer Day and to look forward with hope to a series of Elbasan 2030 projects.
