Derby with 8 red cards, iron-fisted discipline

The Disciplinary Committee made the decisions after the extremely tense derby between Partizan and Tirana last weekend, which ended with 8 red cards after clashes between players and staff on the playing field.

Due to the behavior of the fans, Partizani, throwing objects at the opposing fans, using offensive chants towards the team and the opposing fans, as well as allowing fans to enter the playing field before the start of the match, is punished with a fine of 100,000 (One Hundred Thousand) Lekë.

Meanwhile, KF Tirana, for improper behavior of spectators, throwing objects in the direction of the opposing fans and using offensive chants towards the team and the opposing fans, is fined 50,000 (fifty thousand) lekë.

The most severe punishments were for the players: :FK Partizani player, Besar Gudjufi, for violating the basic rules of good conduct, insulting the players of the opposing team with offensive signs, based on Article 13/2 of the KDE, is sentenced to 4 (four) matches of suspension from activities. In application of Articles 34/1 and 34/3 of the KDE, a partial suspension of the implementation of the punishment is decided after paying half of it. The period of conditional suspension will be 6 (six) months.

FK Partizani player, Altin Bytyçi, for unsportsmanlike behavior towards players of the opposing team, based on article 14/1/b of the KDE, is punished with a 2 (two) match suspension from activities.

KF Tirana, for improper behavior of spectators, throwing objects in the direction of the opposing fans and using offensive chants towards the team and the opposing fans, based on articles 17/2/b and 17/2/e of the KDE, is punished with a fine of 50,000 (fifty thousand) lekë.

KF Tirana player Leon Kozi is suspended from activities for 2 (two) matches for unsportsmanlike behavior towards players of the opposing team, based on article 14/1/b of the KDE.

KF Tirana player, Gledi Mici, for unsportsmanlike behavior towards players of the opposing team, based on article 14/1/b of the KDE, is punished with a 2 (two) match suspension from activities.

KF Tirana player, Aldi Gjumsi, for unsportsmanlike conduct towards match officials, based on article 14/1/j of the KDE, is sentenced to 4 (four) matches suspension from activities. In application of article 34/1 and 34/3 of the KDE, a partial suspension of the implementation of the punishment is decided after paying half of it. The period of conditional suspension will be 6 (six) months.

"The official of KF Tirana, Agim Ibrahimi, for unsportsmanlike behavior towards match officials, based on article 14/1/j of the KDE, is punished with a 4 (four) match suspension from activities," the Albanian Football Association (AFH) announces.

Clubs are only fined for incidents between fans. The disciplinary action confirms the federation's position that the incidents outside and inside the stadium were the fault of the police.
