Luka Jović was the hero for AC Milan in a 3-0 win over rivals Inter, securing the Rossoneri a place in the Coppa Italia final for the first time in more than a decade. With this victory in the second leg of the semi-final, Milan ended the encounter in complete dominance, defeating Inter for the third time this season and finally ending the Nerazzurri's dream of another treble like the one they won in 2010.
Inter started the match better, with Darmian and Dimarco threatening Mike Maignan's goal, but without success. Lautaro Martínez missed a golden chance to put Inter ahead. In the 36th minute, Jović headed home a Jiménez cross, bringing silence to the San Siro.
The second half began with Milan doubling their lead just four minutes after the restart, again with Jović capitalising on a collision in the area following a corner. Inzaghi made several substitutions to turn the tide of the match, but even de Vrij, with a powerful header, could not beat Maignan.
In the end, Milan sealed the result with a quick action where Reijnders scored the third goal after an assist from Rafael Leão. In the final, Milan will face the winner of the Empoli-Bologna pair.
