The red and black weightlifting successes are back in the international arena. Enkileda Carja is declared the three-time European champion in the women's 63 kg weight class.
The Albanian athlete managed to win three gold medals and set six European records during her competition.
At the event taking place in Madrid, Carja lifted 91 kg in the first attempt, and in the second, she increased her weight by another two kg, bringing it to 93 kg, writes A2.
Carja passed the first two tests successfully, while on the third attempt, competing with herself and with the gold medal secured, she tried 95 kg, but without success.
Even in the clean and jerk, the Albanian lifted 109 kg in the first attempt. In the second, the 17-year-old managed to improve her performance with 111 kg lifted, securing a total of three gold medals in her category as well as three European records: in the snatch, clean and jerk, with a total of 204 kg.
Enkileda Carja climbed the podium three times in a row and waved the Albanian flag among the champions. (A2 Televizion)
